Vibe coding is the future of experimentation. Ethos is the future of onchain reputation. Today we're combining those two with the first ever Ethos Vibeathon - a hackathon to show off what you can build with Ethos that takes place next week. Participating in hackathons has previously been limited to those with coding abilities, but vibe coding has unlocked the ability for ANYONE to participate. We're confident Ethos is the perfect platform to vibe coding on top of, with an extensive set of developer documentation and easy to use API, vibe coders can easily create new products or integrate Ethos into existing ones. Over the last 6 months, our CEO @serpinxbt has live streamed on X, teaching you how to both vibe code AND build interesting tools using Ethos data. Now we're ready to show the next evolution of that, where we empower our community to do the same. The best part? Ethos users over 1400 credibility score will be able to register and unlock $75 of free Claude credits to participate in the vibeathon. Just before the competition start, we will load up a claude account for you with $75 in credits to start vibe coding on. It is preferred that the email you submit does not have an existing claude account; feel free to use a burner. In order to be eligible for prizes, you'll need to record a 2-3 minute demo video of your submission before the end of the vibeathon. Prizes There are 2 categories eligible for prizes Net new product - build something entirely new utilizing Ethos score Reputation driven improvement - take an existing product and make it better with the Ethos score 1st place winners will take home $2500 in cash and a year of claude pro. Both 1st and 2nd place winners will be eligible for massive Ethos XP rewards as well. For users who build apps or improve apps on Base, we've co-sponsored this vibeathon with the Base team to offer $30k total in paymaster credits to winners or runners-up. Winner Livestream We will live stream here on X and watch the top submissions together on Friday, Jan 23rd. The judge panel currently includes @serpinxbt, @davidtsocy, @frankdegods, @zacxbt & @marco_derossi who will review each submission to determine a winner.
