Applications are now open for Hack-Nation’s 5th Global AI Hackathon 2026, a high-impact global competition inviting developers, innovators, and AI enthusiasts to build cutting-edge solutions and compete for over $30,000 in prizes. The Hack-Nation Global AI Hackathon is an intensive 24-hour innovation sprint where participants work individually or in teams to design and build AI-driven solutions. The program is rooted in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ecosystem and focuses on fostering innovation, collaboration, and rapid product development. Participants will engage in solving open-ended challenges using artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation tools, and modern technologies—mirroring real-world startup conditions. Hackathon Benefits Participants in the program will gain access to: Over $30,000 in cash prizes and API credits More than $150,000 in API credits to build AI solutions Hands-on experience building real AI products under time pressure Mentorship from industry professionals and AI experts Opportunity to collaborate with global talent from over 60 countries Exposure to startup, investor, and career opportunities Eligibility Criteria To participate in the Hack-Nation Global AI Hackathon, applicants must: Be at least the legal age of majority in their country Be from any country (global participation is allowed) Have an interest in AI, technology, or innovation Be willing to collaborate and build within a 24-hour hackathon environment Both beginners and experienced developers are welcome to apply.
