About

Browser Use (W25) is hosting the first Web Agents Hackathon at Y Combinator in San Francisco! From ordering groceries to gambling on prediction markets, the browser is where most digital interactions occur. However, the complexity and security of webpages prevented most agents from acting quickly and deterministically. That's changed. Browsers can now get past anti-bot, agents can adjust to page changes, and models developed for browsing are cheaper, faster, and more accurate than general-purpose frontier models. The web has become a playground. TLDR: now, you can automate anything on the web. The only question left to answer is: what will you build? Sponsors: Google Deepmind: Google's world-leading AI research lab. Convex: Build and deploy your entire backend in TypeScript with live reactivity and zero setup Vibeflow: Turn prompts into full-stack apps with visual, editable backend workflows Agentmail: Email inbox API that lets AI agents send, receive, and act on emails. Cubic: AI-powered code review to help you catch more bugs, faster. HUD: Evaluate and train AI agents with benchmarks and RL environments. Superset: Run multiple AI coding agents in parallel from one terminal. Laminar: Tracing, evals, and observability for AI agents Vercel: The platform for deploying and scaling modern web apps What to Build Research Agents — Access data behind logins and security layers that traditional scrapers can't reach. Monitoring Systems — Watch data sources in real time and trigger actions on signal events. Legacy Industry Automation — Healthcare records, transportation sites, government portals — bring modern automation to old platforms. Personal Productivity Agents — Sync notes and tasks across platforms, and schedule recurring web tasks. Outbound Engines — Identify leads and send targeted outreach. Any web agent project that’s been on your mind! Prizes include Guaranteed YC interview for first place overall Lots of swag Credits Cash And more!
